Museum FAQ

What ages of children can enjoy the museum?

Our Exhibits are designed for children 12 months to 7 years old.

Can we bring food?

Food is not allowed in the Exhibit areas, however you are welcome to eat in our Lobby, Cafeteria, or outside in the Picnic area. We do not allow peanut products of any kind into the museum.

Is the Museum Hanidcap Accessible?

The first two floors of the museum are ADA compliant and wheelchair accessible.

Are the bathrooms family-friendly?

Yes they are! Our bathrooms have lots of space, stools for kids, and a diaper changing station.

Where can I park?

There is ample meter parking outside for $0.25/hour (a typical museum stay is about 90 minutes.) There is also garage parking around the corner. They offer a 10% discount if you present a Museum Receipt.

What is your security policy?

To keep our visitors safe we require all children to be accompanied by an adult and no adults are allowed into the museum without a child. All staff members monitor the museum floor as well as the entrance/exit area.

How often is the Museum cleaned?

Our staff monitors and sanitizes exhibit areas all day. We do a thorough cleaning of all toys and dress-up clothes weekly. There are sanitizing stations located throughout the museum, and we encourage everyone to use them frequently.
